Certain lab resources allow an Instructor or Student to run useful commands from the device call-out (ping the device, get device info, reboot, etc.).
- Click on the device's command tool to slide out the resource commands window:
- Select the appropriate command to run.
- If no user input is required, you will see a blue "Run" arrow present. Simply click the Run arrow to execute.
- If additional user input is required, you will see the ">" arrow to click in order to provide additional info.
In the below example, the "Get Device Information" command wanted to know if it should use the device console port or not. I provided the requested info and clicked "Run" to execute. After clicking run, you will see messages indicating the command has started.
To view the command output, you can click on the "Output" link at the top of the page or click the "document" icon next to the Completed command.
