CertMetrics Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I create a CertMetrics account?

A: Once you create a Pearson VUE Juniper Networks account and register for an exam, a CertMetrics account is created for you automatically. You will receive an email notification with instructions to log in to your CertMetrics account within a few days.

Q: How do I access my CertMetrics account?

A: For candidates who have previously set a password, use the ‘Forgot Password or CertMetrics ID’ link on the CertMetrics login page to access your account.

For candidates who have never accessed CertMetrics, use the ‘Never logged in before?’ link on the CertMetrics login page to access your account and set your password. You will use the ‘By email address’ field during this process.

Q: How do I update my personal information in CertMetrics?

A: You can update all of your personal information, except your name, by logging in to your CertMetrics account. Go to the ‘Profile’ dropdown of your account to update any of your personal information.  Select ‘Update Information’ to save your changes.

To update your name in your CertMetrics account, please open a ticket with Juniper Networks Certification Program Support and attach a copy of your government-issued photo identification.

Q: Why are my recent exam results not visible in CertMetrics?

A: Most results are available in CertMetrics within one to two business days. Allow five business days from the date of your exam for your results to import. An email notification is sent to the email address registered to your CertMetrics account once new exam results have imported. Check for your recent exam results under the ‘Exams’ section of your CertMetrics account.

Q: When does my certification expire?

A: In CertMetrics, go to the ‘Certifications’ dropdown and select 'Status' to view your certifications and their expiration dates.

Q: How do I download my eCertificate or logo?

A: You can download your eCertificate(s) and logo(s) by logging into your CertMetrics account. Once you have logged in, go to the ‘Certifications’ dropdown and select 'Status'. Then, select the download icon to the right for any active certification(s).

Q: How do I publish my certification credentials?

A: Follow the below step to publish your credentials to anyone you wish.

  1. Log in to your CertMetrics account.
  2. Click on the 'Share' dropdown and select 'Publish Credentials'.
  3. Select ‘Create a new transcript’.
  4. Enter an “Valid Through’ date.
  5. Enter any comments in the ‘Remarks’ section.
  6. Select ‘Save’. 
  7. Select the 'Share' icon to copy the link to send to anyone you choose.

Q: How do I submit my course completion certificate for recertification?

A: The process to recertify via course attendance through CertMetrics is outlined under the ‘Recertification Process’ on our Recertification through Course Attendance webpage.
