Virtual Console Issues

Connection Issue

Due to certain browser security requirements there may some issues with the Virtual Console connectivity option. When connecting via Virtual Console you may see an error shown below:
 

Fixes and Workarounds

There are multiple ways to fix this issue and workaround the browser security issues

• Connect via Incognito or Private browser tab: The easiest workaround is to right click on VirtualConsole and select to open in an Incognito/Private browser tab. This will open a new window and log you straight into the guacamole console connection.
• Switch browsers: Sometimes compatibility issues can occur. Try using a different browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge).
• Clear your browser cache: Cached data can interfere with loading. Clearing it often resolves access issues.
